I hope everyone had a wonderful memorial weekend!
And Thank you to all of our soldiers and veterans who have given us so much.

Well my hubby & I are off to the beautiful Bahamas tomorrow!

Greenfest was a lot of fun. A bit chilly until we actually got up to do our routine. But it was all good.

Berkeley Heights Greenfest Schedule Features Speakers on Natural Lawn Care and Energy Audits, May 16th

In addition to activities for children, the Berkeley Heights Greenfest, which takes place May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lower Columbia Park, will feature speakers on natural lawn care and energy audits.

The scheduled speakers and performers are:

10:15-10:30 a.m. - Sustainability Committee presents the mayor with the draft Action Plan for a Sustainable Berkeley Heights

10:45-11:00 a.m. - Kevin Sandt on natural lawn care

11:00-11:15 a.m. - George Kraemer on energy audits

11:30-12:00 noon - Kenny Woods & Band

12:00 noon-12:15 p.m. - Learn how to make your own green cleaning products

12:15-12:45 p.m. - Kenny Woods & Band

1:00-1:25 p.m. - Zumba Demo

1:30-1:45 p.m. - Kevin Sandt on natural lawn care

Lower Columbia Park is off Plainfield Avenue. In case of rain, the event will take place in the Little Flower Parish Cafeteria (Roosevelt & Hamilton Ave).

My son surprised me with a beautiful picture he had put on canvas with a poem he wrote over it and then framed. It truely is a wonderful feeling to be a mom.

Revlon Run Walk

Well my friends and I had a blast at the Revlon Run/Walk in NY yesterday. Glenda completed her 2nd walk ever in 2 weeks. Great job! Even thought her feet were a little sore from the week prior she trucked along like a trooper. Luckily the rain held off and it was perfect walking weather. After the walk we all enjoyed a nice beverage and some munchies at a local pub/restaurant. And to our surprise Glenda had also never been to a pub. Wow! Again thank you to everyone who sponsered/donated to yet another wonderful cause.
