Get crunching & get a head start for the summer!

OK I keep hearing how everyone is bored of regular crunches. Well here is a slight modification you just might enjoy.

Grab your weights!
Lay down on the floor or mat, whatever. Knees are bend and feet are flat on the floor.
Grab you dumbells and raise them directly over your shoulders. (arms are straight up)

Exhale and begin your crunch. At the top of your crunch hold for 5-8 seconds return to first position and repeat.

Question?

OK. I received a question today that I really cannot answer fully.
So I am putting it on here to see if anyone out here might be able
to help me.
I recently came across something like this: "...the health benefits of tickling are well documented. Laughter from tickling lowers blood pressure, decreases stress hormones, and increases infection fighting antibodies. Tickling is also a great workout for your diaphragm, abdominal, respiratory, facial, leg, and back muscles. It is estimated that tickling can burn calories equivalent to several minutes on the rowing machine or the exercise bike. It stimulates both sides of the brain to enhances learning and it eases muscle tension and psychological stress..."I was just curious if you have ever heard of this before, and if the health links are true?

So if anyone can support any of this one way or the other with facts I would love to hear from you.

Cancun


Hello!

Well we just got back from a long weekend in Cancun. It was so much fun.

We met some really great people. I even introduced quite a few people to Zumba during our trip.
Now is the time to get back into action and get my butt movin on my awsome clients and blast my classes with the fun of fitness.


So get ready to bust a gut and trim down. Girls now is the time to get ready for summer. So lets get going.

Happy New Year!




I hope everyone had a wonderful New years! I had a great time. My hubby and I were in the Bahamas and were able to experience "Junkanoo" The sights and sounds were amazing. It was nice to go back and experience something we have only heard about. If you get the chance I highly recommend it. Just be aware It runs on "Boxing Day" for 24 hrs and again January 1st from 12:00 a.m. until sometime late afternoon. So you see the ball drop. See the fireworks and head into town for more amazing sights. But you will be exhausted!
